Father Time, Jamie Moyer (12-9 ) is the starting pitcher for the Philies this afternoon as they look to add to the 4-2 win last night. Moyer is opposed by Mike Pelfrey (10-10 ), who has been the Mets best pitcher all year. Jamie Moyer is filling in for J.A. Happ for the second start while Happ recovers from an intercostal rib injury. The Phils have the opportunity to put the Mets one game closer to the end of their season.

Even though Madson looked shaky in the 9th, right now he is the best option the Phillies have. Who do you think will be the closer in game one of the playoffs?

Wow, what the hello happened? Its 40 minutes into the game and the Phillies are down 4-0 in the bottom of the 2nd. B.S. Why do the Phillies play to the level of the crappy teams they play? I also wanted to thank Mplant for the play by play last game. great job.

Pedro Feliz hits a two run homerun to left knocking in Werth and cutting the lead in half. 4-2 Mets in the 2nd. Ruiz doubles in the gap in right/center. Always nice to see the Mets hang their heads. Is NYC the most hated town in PHilly? or is it Pittsburgh? Dallas?

6-4 Phillies in the Top of the 5th. Moyer has retired 12 straight batters after that horrible 1st inning. Who do you think is the 3rd starter in a playoff series for the Phillies?

Phils continue to pile on the run with Pelfrey still in the game. Phillies up 8-4. The Phillies offense has reelled off eight unanswered runs.

Well the Phillies just blew a 8-4 lead and Madson blew another save. 10-9 in the top of the 9th. The Phillies are screwed this year.

I'm SO glad I wasn't home to see the carnage! The Phillies, once they start to turn things around, become the epitome of fan frustration. I think I'll just forego any further comments until the last out of the last inning of the regular season. Unless, of course, there's such a drastic change I'll just have to shout out my joy and happiness! :p

Was at the game. One of the worst losses I've ever seen in person
