Aug 31 Raw Commentary (Late)

I apologize for being late this week, but better late than never. I have Raw DVR'ed, so I will act like I'm watching it live.

- Dusty Rhodes is the guest GM this week. Is it me, or would you expect to see his face on the Megan's Law website?

- Cody Rhodes vs. Orton... They are recycling ideas now. They did this with DiBiase and his father a couple weeks ago.

- It should be interesting how Orton and Dusty react. Remember, Dusty came off TV due to Orton 'punting him in the face'.

- It will also be interesting to see if Orton's father, Cowboy Bob Orton, ever becomes guest GM. I highly doubt this will happen though. A couple of years ago, Randy Orton had a huge feud with the Undertaker. And Bob Orton was on TV interfering for the benefit of his son. During the actual PPV matchup, Bob Orton was bleeding, and that blood was eventually on both Randy and the Undertaker. It was found out later that Bob had hepatitis (dont remember if it was A, B, or C) and he actually knew about it, but kept hush. This did not bode well with the WWE. I'm not sure how this affected the father and son, but if I was Randy, Id be pissed!

- That women's diva over the top match... I wonder if Jillian Hall and Gail Kim were suppose to fight in the ring for that long. Both looked very unnatural fighting each other, and the crowd started booing.

- I 'know what it is, but I just can't get into a match if MVP is in it. Does anyone else feel that way? Just curious what everyone else's opinion is of him.

- The last thing I ever wanna hear Dusty Rhodes say is "PUT IT IN!"

- Chavo vs Little Hornswaggle, part 15? I wont even comment on this match, it speaks for itself.

- Althought the Big Show/Mark Henry match was slow, I was kind of enjoying it. Although a clean ending would have been nice, I understand why it had to be.

- DX, are they done yet? I cant even understand Dusty when he talks.

- I'm going to say after all of his title defenses, Kofi's reign ends tonight. I'll say Swagger wins. There has to be a reason for promoting him to Raw, and it ain't jobbing to other wrestlers.

- Wow! Kofi keeps winning! When is he going to lose?

- Beth Phoenix, two fights in one night. I'm going to try to redeem myself, and predict that Beth wins the title here.

- Both diva matches looked very awkward tonight, but Beth really sold that DDT to lose the match. It looked devastating!

- The Shockmaster... One of the worst intros in WCW history. The Shockmaster was actually Tugboat, who later became Typhoon.

- I see that Vince McMahon is getting his shits and giggles tonight by putting down WCW. I did laugh seeing 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson on the mic.

- I'm already 0 for 2 in predictions. I'm going to say that Cody turns on his father, that way Legacy will get more of that HEEL attitude!

- O snap! BOB BARKER NEXT WEEK! Although he has nothing to do with wrestling, it should be interesting. This may be the most excited I've been for a guest GM so far.

- I should have saw it, but I didnt. Dusty ends up helping Legacy. I like it! But now DX ruins it.

- Did Dusty just use a 'steel boot' on Triple H?

- Didn't see Orton turning either. Pretty good acting by Cody. It looks to me that Cody and Ted are bubbling up for maybe a face turn.

- For the most part, Raw was much better than last week, but thats not saying much. I'll be here live next Monday night... see ya then!

Yes I do. Tragically, I think she died in a car accident.

What's even more ironic, Dusty was known to be racist.
