Figured we'd might as well get some offseason threads going with the news today

Kind of out of left field: http://blogs.forbes.com/mikeozanian/2011/06/07/comcast-spectacor-selling-76ers-to-billionaire/

Guess this could be a good thing for the Sixers and Flyers too. Comcast- Spectacor can focus on the Flyers while the Sixers get their own guys. Snider seemed to be around the Sixers a little more this past season than he had in recent years, maybe he was trying to gauge their value

Just wish Snider would've let Pat Croce take over the team 10 years ago

Lots of rumors out there the Sixers and Warriors are discussing a deal that would send Andre Iguodala to Golden State for Monta Ellis. Would be an interesting trade, Ellis would give the Sixers the pure scorer they've been lacking, though Ellis pretty much plays zero defense. Not too many guys of that ilk have really fit in with Doug Collins

Sixers holding the 16th pick in the draft. They've had a lot of discussions about Andre Iguodala. There was a deal with the Lakers rumored, which involved Lamar Odom among others. There was another rumor that had Iguodala possibly heading to Minnesota in a deal that would send the second overall pick to the Sixers. Timberwolves coach Kurt Rambis was very high on Iguodala, but Rambis is reportedly being fired after the draft, so that could be the end of that
