I thought they would wait until the rosters expand, but I'm now expecting an activation no later than Friday

Yeah but I can't quite put my finger on where we can use him..

I would not put him in the rotation. Instead, use him as a utility pitcher. Extra innings, a sub for a starter not having a good night, etc. Maybe even as a reliever, kind of like another Durbin.

He will be a reliever in some fashion. The Playoff Rotation is FULL!

Bull pen all the way. He will be insurance if Lidge continues to struggle
Brad is 6 blown saves away of the new record for blown saves in a season. The record is 14 done by 4 different pitchers.

I still say, that at worst, they will use a bullpen by committee. Lidge one night, Myers the next. But we have to get Myers in that role with Lidge as soon as possible, so he may get used to it again. It wont take him long, he has looked good in the minors.

If Lidge continues to struggle as the closer I believe it will be a closer by committee. With Myers looking as if he is coming back soon, what pitchers will be on the playoff roster?

This sounds good to me. I'd give Myers 1 of every 3 save opportunities, something like that. This could help Lidge out a lot too.
Myers might give us a better right-handed bat than Eric Bruntlett to bring off the bench too :p

haha anything is better than Bruntlett!
