The Northeast Corridor dealt with a blizzard this week, but when the Villanova Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals went at it in South Philadelphia on Wednesday, it was raining, not snowing. The two ranked Big East opponents combined to pour in 20 three-pointers, mostly in the first half. It was my Catss second-half defense that allowed them to run away and hide at the Wells Fargo Center though, taking their fourth straight conference tilt, 88-74. I always get a little nervous when Nova takes their home act down Route 76 to the home of the Philadelphia 76ers.
