Pedro Martinez makes his home debut for the Phillies while the Diamondbacks have Jon Garland firing them. Its great to know that a sure fire HOFer on the mound but how many innings are you going to get from Pedro tonight? 5?

If you had to pick, which late season addition would you rather have. Billy Wagner or John Smoltz?

Brett Myers is trying his ass off to get back only because he is a free agent at the end of the year. Not because he wants to help the team. He knows his days of wife beating and lying are over in Philly.

What a break out year for Jason Werth! HR to left center in the 5th. 4-1 Phillies. 25th for Werth, a career high during a career year for him.

Chris Wheeler is in rare form tonight! He says the stupidest shit. In the 6th inning alone he said - ' Thats a homerun hitters fly ball' 'Ryal's last at bat he had a long foul homerun' to name a few...what a douche and Harry should have taken Wheels with him.

Pedro and Moyer both looked good, especially Moyer. Too much pitching, its a great problem to have!

I bet it broke his heart that the Phillies entered the ninth with a four-run lead. There was no need to play a no-doubles defense
