Flyers November 22-28 Weekly Game Thread

An up-and-down week saw the Flyers split four games. The bookended the week with wins, a dominant 5-1 home victory over the Ottawa Senators and a 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals in Washington. In the middle were two losses, a chippy 3-0 shutout against the Canadiens in Montreal and a crazy 8-7 home loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Flyers will have four games again this week. Here's a look at the matchups:

Wednesday, November 24: at Minnesota Wild (8:00, Comcast Network)
Friday, November 26: Calgary Flames (1:00. Comcast SportsNet)
Saturday, November 27: at New Jersey Devils (1:00. Comcast SportsNet)

The Flyers were shut out for the first time this season by the Canadiens last Tuesday, 3-0. After the game, Flyers captain Mike Richards called out Montreal rookie defenseman P.K. Subban for his style of play, which always has the potential for a carryover effect. This will be trip the Habs have made to Philadelphia since they eliminated from the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals in five games. The teams will meet twice more before the regular season is through...This will be the only time the Flyers play both the Wild and Flames this season...The Flyers have lost their last three traditional Black Friday afternoon home games. The last win came in 2006, a 3-2 decision against the Columbus Blue Jackets that was only victory on home ice for the Flyers over a 19-game span that season...This will be the first of six meetings against a struggling Devils team, four of which will take place on Saturday afternoons
