The Nationals have called up Justin Maxwell from Triple-A Syracuse to take the roster spot of left-hander Scott Olsen. The team announced the move Sunday before its game against the Baltimore Orioles. Olsen went on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with left shoulder inflammation, but manager Jim Riggleman said the Nationals won't need to replace him in the rotation until Saturday in San Diego.
