Hearing this really pisses me off because if you thought he was so important to the team why didnt you just shell out a few more dollars to keep him here for his whole damn career. He definately deserves this reward for all of his service to the Eagles

Having Dawkins retire as an Eagle would be the only appropriate gesture to give to a man who has literally given and sacrificed his body for this organization.

Couldnt agree more. At this point, the FO had to do something. This was their only move IMO. Still, very bad it has all come to this.
