Barring any unforeseen last-minute setbacks, Brad Lidge will be activated from the DL for tomorrow's series opener against the Mets. Antonio Bastardo is headed to Lehigh Valley to make room
In a perfect world, Lidge would be eased back into the closer's role, but given Ryan Madson's struggles there, he might have to be thrown right into the fire. Needless to say, it would be a lot better if the 2010 version of Lidge was more like the 2008 version as opposed to what we saw in 2009
In other injury news, Joe Blanton could be activated as soon as Monday. Jimmy Rollins has started running again, but there is still no timetable for his return
