In the eyes of our intrepid Power Rankings voters, the Philadelphia Phillies were the better team. They earned the No. 1 ranking with a 5-1 week. The Phillies, who were No. 3 last week, also lead the majors in run differential at plus-25. The Yankees fell to No. 2, while the Minnesota Twins jumped six spots to check in at No. 3. The Red Sox, last week's No. 2 team, dropped to No. 7.
They almost sound angry the Yankees fell to #2, if it weren't for those damn voters. Nevermind the +25 in runs!
