I would tell Riccardi you can have one of either Happ and Drabek and One of either Taylor or Brown. Then throw in two other prospects....Donald, Marson, Kendrick, etc...
My personal belief is to give Toronto HAPP(Sell HIGH, he isnt going to get any better than this), Brown(Might end up being better than Taylor in the long run, but is a lot farther off then him.) Donald and Marson.

That should be enough to get him, and to outbid any offer from LAA or LAD.

The Jays are clearly asking for the moon in this deal. Ruben is just feeling them out. The Jays rejected the Phils latest offer of Taylor, Happ, Donald and Carrasco. They are still wanting Happ, Drabek, and Brown. Something will give in the next few days.

The biggest mistake the Phils can make is miss out on Halladay and go for Cliff Lee. Lee isnt worth HALF of what its going to take to get Roy.

According to multiple sources, things are NOT looking good in the negotiations between the Phils and the Jays. Riccardi is being stubborn and not backing down from Happ, Drabek and Brown. The Phils are inching closer to a better deal then their first offer, but they do NOT want to give up a MLB pitcher, their #1 Pitching and #1 hitting prospect. I cant say I blame them. Its a lot to give up. I would tell them take two out of those three, we will add donald, and Savery.... We shall see who breaks first....lets hope its the Jays!
